Gregory M. Rosales Sr., 67, peacefully departed this life on November 29, 2016. He was born September 8, 1949 in La Junta, Colorado to parents Rufus and Natividad Rosales; both preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his children, Jason and Athena Rosales; his sister, Cynthia Rosales; and in-laws, Joseph and Clara Chamberlin. He is survived by his loving and supportive wife of 43 years, Marilynn Rosales; his children, Gregory Jr. (Bernadette) Rosales, Jeffrey (Valerie) Rosales, Mandy (Donald) Rivera, and Kira Ferguson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, who were the apple of his eye, Athena Rosales, Ryana Rosales, Mariya Rosales, Michael Rosales, Ryan Rosales, Gabriel Rosales, Zoey Ferguson, and Liliana Rivera; sisters Sandra (Bob) Herrera and Sara Rosales; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Greg was an upstanding man with a good heart. He had a deep love for his family. His strength and deep roots in his faith were truly remarkable. He will be missed immensely, but never forgotten. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank Dr. Harry Keefe for his excellent care and friendship to Greg throughout the years. They would also like to thank the many other doctors and caregivers Greg had. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 414 W. 11th St. Interment to follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow interment at the Imperial Funeral Home Reception Hall.

Greg was a joy to be around. I will never forget his smile. My heart goes out to the whole family during this time. He kept his cross on, a smile on, and always stayed positive no matter what came up. He is the kind of patient you could never forget.
