Mr. Gregory Scott Doucet, age 47, of Etoile, Texas, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Nacogdoches Medical Center.
Greg was born June 15, 1965, in Fort Worth, Texas, to parents Kenneth J. and Linda Gene (Wyatt) Doucet. He had lived in Nacogdoches County since 1992.

During the past 20 years Greg has also served with other area fire departments, including Appleby, Etoile, Garrison, and Lake Nacogdoches (two years as assistant chief).
He held certifications as Advanced Firefighter, ECA, Training Officer, and Class 4 Engineer. Greg loved the fire service, looking at his service as a way to help people and he has always wanted to help other people.
Greg was dedicated to CrossRoads Christian Center Church.
