Obituary

Gregory Marshall Goffinet, 53, of Grand Prairie passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, with his family by his side.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Grand Prairie. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home in north Grand Prairie.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crosspoint Church of Christ building fund.
Greg was born Dec. 30, 1957, in Dallas. He grew up in Grand Prairie and graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1976. Greg was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan, a sports writer, and a devoted husband, father and "Grumps."
Greg was preceded in death by his father, William, and his mother, Sherry.
Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; son, Zachry; daughter, Hailey; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Mike McDonough; grandson, Max; and sister, Gwen Brazelton.
