Biography

Guadalupe G. Alaniz, 74, passed away March 7, 2012 at her residence. She was born on July 12, 1937 in Hebbronville to Demetrio Gonzalez and Amalia Ruiz Gonzalez. She was a housewife. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Alfredo Alaniz, sisters Anita Garza and Maria Saenz, half sister Maria Arredondo, half brother Remigio Gonzalez. Guadalupe is survived by her sons Alfredo (Iracema) Alaniz Jr., Arnoldo (Norma) Alaniz Sr., Adalberto (Anabel) Alaniz and Abelardo (Selina) Alaniz Sr. all of Hebbronville; daughters Aurora (Efrain) Rocha of Hebbronville, Ana (Rick) Mosemiller of Nashville, TN., and Alice Lee Martinez of Hebbronville, granddaughter Ruby Ann Martinez of Hebbronville, brother Juvenal (Lupe) Gonzalez of Alice, sisters Aida Chapa and Petra (Rufino) Cantu both of Hebbronville, 24 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren. Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alfredo Alaniz III, Efrain Rocha Jr., Arnold Alaniz Jr, Abelardo Alaniz Jr., Adalberto M. Alaniz II and Odell Saul Martinez. Please join us in honoring our loved one, Guadalupe G.
