Gum Hun Chin, 84, of Boston, passed away on April 22, 2012. Born in 1927 in China and immigrated with her children to Boston to reunite with her late husband You Ming Chin in 1969. She spent most of her time as a caregiver to family members. Her interests included cooking and gardening. In the warmer months, she grew vegetables to enhance her culinary skills. She specialized in making salty eggs and salty fish. Her favorite dishes to make for her family that everyone loved were her "joong" and "chee". She is survived by her children, Andrew, Danny, Diana and their spouses. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren...
Gum Hun Chin, 84, of Boston, passed away on April 22, 2012.

Born in 1927 in China and immigrated with her children to Boston to reunite with her late husband You Ming Chin in 1969. She spent most of her time as a caregiver to family members. She is survived by her children, Andrew, Danny, Diana and their spouses. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday April 28, 2012 at Boston Harborside Home of JS Waterman & Son-Waring-Langone, North End, Boston. Family will receive relatives and friends at 10 AM prior the service. Parking attendants will be present. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.
