Gwendolyn A. (nee Abrahamsen), age 83 of Berwyn, Pennsylvania, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. A graduate of Cedar Crest College and Bucknell University, she loved gardening, playing golf throughout the world with her late husband, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her grace, her kindness and her love for her family. Devoted wife of the late Jack May; mother of Ann (Hud) Moore, John (Jeanne), Susan (Rick) Eckman, and Elizabeth (Edward) Gieske; also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Neighborhood Hospice Services, 400 E. Marshall Street, West Chester, Pennsylvania 19380. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Berwyn, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at Waynesborough Country Club.
