Grandpa was a great man, I just remember him always being there and doing anything he could for anyone. He always had words of wisdom. I am deeply sorry for the loss, and I too carry a special spot in my heart for a VERY SPECIAL MAN.

I may not have been grandpa's real granddaughter, but he always treated me like part of the family. I have so many memories of being at his house, listening to his stories and his jokes and sitting around the dinner table just talking, he would listen to anything I had to say, no matter how what it was. It was a happy time in my life and I will always be thankful for the kindness that he showed me. I love you Grandpa, you will always have a special place in my heart. Love Patty

Aunt Janett, Linda, Vicki, Steven, Dennis, Brenda and the whole extended family, our thoughts are with you. We had such great times with Uncle Howard and Aunt Janett while we were growing up. He shared his birthday with me, always reminding me he was 21 when I was born. I remember when our Dad died what support he gave to our family especially Mom. Our thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time.

I can remember stopping over to visit Uncle Howard and Aunt Janett and he would have a big pot of homemade bean soup cooking, or picking grapes with him out at the farm. All those great memories we will have. Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Janett and the family.

Aunt Janett, Linda, Vicki,Steve, Dennis and Brenda and all of your extended family: Uncle Howard has been a big part of all of our lives--back to Judi and Eric sharing his birthday and many other great memories. My daughter, Holly, remembers when he was working on our house sharing popcorn with him after school each day. So many great moments make up a good life. We are thankful to have shared some of Uncle Howard's. Love you guys--Nancy Nelson

I love my grandpa more than words can express. He was my rock, my shoulder to cry on and my support; I could tell him anything and everything. I am not sure what to do with myself now that he is gone, my life will never be the same. I love you grandpa and I miss you so much!

I am so sorry to hear of the family's loss. Howard was a great person, especially great to my grandma Freda. He and she were very close. I couldn't believe they passed away on the exact same day two years apart. Losing a loved one is never easy, but I hope you can take some comfort in believing he has reached a much happier place and will live on here through each of your hearts. God Bless you all.

A father is a great teacher, through him a child will see that miracles are all around inside God's Galaxy.

While seasons change from winter to spring, A father understands and shows his child a thousand seeds can make a grassy land.

A fathers hands were made to mold the eager life he holds his wisdom to instill the truths his child must be told.

A father is a man that builds toward a bright tomorrow and from the knowledge he will gain his child may someday borrow.

Dear dad, A father is the name given the person you have been we hav loved you as a father and have known you as a friend
