Dear Marlene and Family:
We all loved and appreciated Handel for the pleasant and cheerful person that he was. We admired him for his professional achievements, his care and dedication to his patients. We respected him for his humility and for his love and committment to his family. I'll still remember the caring way he would nurture Gevin and his warmth and untiring devotion to Telissa. We will certainly honor and remember Handel's legacy for a long time. I hope that Marlene, Gevin, Telissa, Handel's Mother and sister, Heather, will be encouraged by our kind thoughts, prayers and reflections of a truly awesome person. Dear Reynolds Family,
I just saw Handel a few weeks ago when he was in Indy. We hugged and I told him I am reminded of him everyday when I look at the clock he gave me when I left Radiology to go to CME. He just laughed and smiled - his smile was infectious. He was a gentle soul and I will miss him. My prayers are with you and your family. May God keep you in his hands and lighten your load as you travel this road.

Warm Regards,

Dear Marlene and Family

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I know the world is a lesser place without Handel. I am so blessed to have known and worked under his tutelage at IU. He was so kind and humble as he helped change the way we diagnosed breast cancer. I have great memories from my time with Handel. It is my fervent hope that all of your memories of your life with Handel are happy. You and your children are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dr. Reynolds, the day I knew I had breast cancer, you performed by core biopsy. You made me feel at ease as you and the staff worked. You were kind, loving, and full of laughter in one of the worst moments of my life. I commend you to Heaven - to Jesus - and to your family, I say I am most grateful for his life - for the loving way he served his patients that he had never met before. He was such a blessing to me in my life. I am privileged to have known him, let alone to have had him perform my biopsy. I send you love, Dr. Reynolds.

Dearest Heather,Fay,Ludlow,LJ,Telissa and Gevin. Throughout our life, every once in awhile
we meet remarkable people that leaves an indelible impression on our lives. Handel has done just that for so many people. Fay, I am so proud of the way you and your husband raised your children to be wondering human beings, just the way God intended us to be. Heather, as your friend, I know how close you and your brother were and only God can heal the wounds due the pain you feel for missing him. Thank God for his wonderful children, my prayer is that they will grow to love God first and embrace the love that so many people have for them because of the wonderful person that Handel was. His humble spirit will never be forgotten. I will never forget how lovingly, he stood by you at the hospital. I knew he wanted to make you well. Dry your tears my friend, joy cometh in the morning, and what a wonderful day that will be.
With deepest sympathy to the entire family.

To all of Dr. Handel Reynolds' family,

It's crazy; I've contemplated for months about visiting the breast center to talk to Dr. Reynolds about my project. On Saturday, June 15 I sat on the sofa with my computer and said with conviction, “I'm not putting this off anymore, I'm going to talk to Dr. Reynolds this week.” Within a couple hours I heard the sad news that suddenly and unexpectedly he finished this journey and started an eternal one. Tears rolled down my cheeks.
I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sincerely,

To the Reynolds's Family......Tho the Clouds may hang over.....there will be a Brighter Day. Your Husband, Dad, Son, and Brother was an Amazing Man, whom I had much Respect for. Years ago the Breast Ctr had a function at Chastain Park and I introduce him to my Husband...when I finished with the Introductions....he said to my Husband call me Handel. I thought that was so Noble of him. Almost everyday we would somehow meet up in the Breakroom for a cup of Coffee and Share a brief conversation about his children, my children and my grand children and especially his "ties". I will surely miss that and his smile. R.I.P. Dr. Reynolds!

To Aunt Joy, Heather, Marlene, Telissa & Gevin
We grieve with you over Handel‘s passing. We thank God for the influence each of you have had in his life and in return, the lasting impression he has left with so many people.
You can expect the full support of your family and friends, during this difficult period. We are praying relentlessly for God's grace and peace upon you.
I am saddened by his sudden and untimely passing and am struggling to come to terms with this loss, but I treasure the last two times we were together, most recently around this time last year – though the occasion was less than ideal. We had some stimulating discussions around various topics from College selection for Gevin to Politics.
But it was our family gathering in London, UK that I choose to remember most. I recall how excited Handel was while photographing Telissa's birthday celebration and the family members that gathered. When I look back on some of the memories and photos from that gathering, they reinforce, for me, why so many family members, colleagues and friends have such fond memories of Handel.
He was handsome, intelligent, loved his family, filled with laughter and life. We will miss you Handel. We also thank God for the time he has given us with you. We will cherish those memories and celebrate your life forever.

My dearest Marlene, I was shocked this morning when someone mentioned to me that one of her young people had died. When she mentioned the name, Handel Reynolds I was just overwhelmed. I am so very sorry. I can't stop the tears. It seems like just yesterday that he was in my home in Tampa as my adopted son while he was at USF. Then there was your wedding that I directed. When we talked last year and you sent me pictures of him and your children I was so excited and had decided to try to visit you this year. Honey, all I can do now is to pray for you and your family. I'll always remember his gentle ways and brilliant mind. May God bless and keep you is my prayer. Lovingly submitted,
