Dear Vonda and Family. ..we are so very sorry for your loss. There were so many wonderful experiences working for Harley and Ernest in the first job I ever had...there couldn't have been two more perfect bosses for a young 20 year old who had never worked. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, he was a great guy who will be missed. May God comfort you all.

Mr. Barnes hired me in 1971 to teach 8th grade math. Always quick with a smile, he was a friend much more than a boss. Thanks for all you did for me. You will be missed. Ron Peek

I worked under Mr. Barnes and loved him as a boss and friend. We are in Fla. with Mike's gravely ill brother, but we are thinking of your family.
