Harold Eugene Davis, Sr, age 99, of Roanoke, formerly of Peoria, passed away Thursday March 26, 2015 at 2 p.m. at his residence.
He was born May 14, 1915 in Canton to William and Lillie (Adams) Davis. He married Betty Harding Aug. 25, 1942 in Peoria. She passed away Nov. 5, 2014 in Roanoke. He was also preceded in death by one son, Harold Davis, Jr, two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Jane Price of Oran, MO, two grandsons: George (Sharon) Price of Antioch, TN, Donnie (Carol) Price of Washington, IL, three granddaughters: Bonnie (Dale) Bennett of Oran, MO, Wanda (Mike) Babbett of Roanoke, Debbie (Dave) Price of McLean, Il, six great-grandsons, six great-granddaughters, six great-great-grandsons, three great-great-granddaughters, and one brother, Harry (Sharon) Davis of Aurora, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Harold first worked for Commercial Solvents in Peoria and later was a Lift Truck Operator at Federal Warehouse in Peoria retiring in 1980.
He was a member of the Peoria Area Blind Center and the Peoria Eagles Club.
Funeral services will be Monday March 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Rev. Mike Henson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Princeville Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Roanoke Ambulance Service or Unity Point Methodist Hospice.

I am going to miss him so very much;but wonderful time he is having with his love one that have gone on ahead 0f him and are waiting for him with open arms.
