Harold Frank Lambert, lifetime Douglas County resident, passed away on September 15 as the third generation on the family's homestead in Cherry Valley. He was 81 years old. Harold was born on April 19, 1935, in Denver, Colorado. He was the youngest child of Frank and Mae Lambert.
He graduated from Douglas County High School in 1953. Harold was a respected veteran who served in the Navy. He was also an honorable officer for the Denver Police Department and an accomplished business owner.
Harold is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen, son Earl Lambert and his wife Rhonda of Castle Rock; daughter Susan Hill and her husband Jesse of Franktown; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Harold was a respected and dedicated family man.
