Corky was my best friend first & my father second. I want to thank all of you on behalf of my family for the kind words and thoughts. My Dad was an amazing man and, it would seem, he had some rather amazing friends as well.

My dear friend from JGHS days....I ran with him all thru my high school years. Man did we get away with some stuff back in those days. 74' thru 78' (graduated in 77'). Played JGHS football with him....1st team to go undefeated 9-0 in 1976. My heart breaks for his family. Rest in peace dear friend.

Three things I know Corky loved dearly and missed terribly when they passed.
His grandma, who raised him
His father in law who was more of a father to him than any man.
His dog Chelsea.

My hope for Corky is that he is reunited with his spitfire of a grandma.
Romping with his doggy Chelsea.
And swilling Captain Morgan with his father in law, while exchanging off color humor.
Love Lisa

my heart is broken to hear of the passing of my life long friend. Corky and I met at Madison Elementary School in Kindergarten in 1965 -66 . We were friends all through school then re connected by face book several years ago then s few years back he left and we lost touch. The world will be a sadder place without him. I know he is in Gods arms now Rest in peace my friend until we can meet again.

I was so saddened to hear about Corky's passing. He was one of my brother Blair's best friends all the way back to elementary school. I remember the laughs and the pranks they pulled with fondness. I remember his grandma who raised him, a loving, attentive and crusty ole' gal who was always there. We all loved Corky, never knowing what he might do, but full of life and laughs.

Oh my! I grew up with Corky and his brother Eddie on Walton St. we reconnected several years ago, then he seemed to disappear. I will miss his energy and his wit. Rest In Peace my old friend.

Corky you have gained your wings and are now one with the angels. I remember Corky from high school; a very sweet guy. We reconnected as friends and classmates on FaceBook. He said he remembered me as being one of the nicest girls in high school; I could honestly say the same about him. Rest in peace, my friend.
