Fuss, Harold (Hal) 7/27/1930 - 8/4/2017 Grand Blanc, MI Harold (Hal) Fuss, of Grand Blanc, MI, age 87, died Friday, August 4 at Genesys Hospital. Hal was born July 27, 1930 in Lansing, MI, the son of the late Joseph and Kate (Pies) Fuss. On April 25, 1954, he married Josephine (Wichlacz) Fuss; the two enjoyed 63 years together. Hal graduated from General Motors Institute in 1954 and worked as a mechanical engineer for General Motors until he retired in 1987. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve for nine years, and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Hal enjoyed hosting family vacations with all the grandkids, traveling, and building the family cabin in Colorado. Hal was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Townsley. Surviving are his wife Josephine; children David Fuss, Tim (Rebecca) Fuss, Paul (Kathy Nolan) Fuss, Carol (Matt) Reed; grandchildren Andrew Reed, Philip Reed, Amelia Fuss, Kimberly Reed, Katherine Fuss, and Patrick Fuss. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Hill Funeral Home in Grand Blanc, with a Scripture Service at 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to MORC (Macomb Oakland Regional Center) or Holy Family Catholic Church's "Witness to Hope" fund. Hal's family cherishes his deep commitment to his family, his sense of adventure, and his steadfast love. The family wishes to thank the staff at Genesys Hospital for their compassionate care.
