God saw you were getting tired
And it was not meant to be,
So he put his arms around you
And whispered,''come to me''.
With tearful eyes we watched you
And saw you pass away,
Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
Love you Dad,
Carson, Heather and Michael

To the family of Fred Donahee,
We wish to express our sincere sympathy to all those who loved this
lovely man. We met Fred at the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre, where he
became a good friend of my father, John Eckertt. Fred and my Dad would
play Bingo in the evenings, and whichever of them won, they would share
the winnings. Fred always had a smile, and was a favourite amongst the
other residents, staff and visitors for his gentle disposition and dapper
style of clothing. He will be missed by so many, and we wish you all a
sense of peace in his passing.
Sincerely, John, Carolyn, and Gord Eckertt. (K1W35)

Mary Elizabeth, Catherine and Carson. Your father, and for that matter all of you were all like family to me. Your fathers smile and laugh will live on in my heart forever as it will I am sure for all of you and your families.

Catherine, Mitzi, Carson and all of your families; The grand memories of your Dad will last forever. No matter how many times a day I knocked on the side door at Silkwood to visit Catherine, as a young child, Mr. Donahee would welcome me in. Always joking around he reminded me of Santa Claus. We are here for you all through these saddened times.
