Phillips, Harold John
Harold Phillips passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 26, 2010, his loving wife of 56 years Frances was at his side at the time his Lord called for him. Harold was the oldest son born to Sydney and Rosa Phillips of Lipton on November 5, 1933. Harold was predeceased by his father and mother: sisters Margaret Crossman and Irene Huber; his younger brother David Phillips; his father and mother-in-law Earl and Bea Cole and brother and sister-in-law Bryant and Betty(Cole) Comstock. Harold is survived by his loving wife Frances; son Robert, son Wayne (Briget), son Garth and son Michael (Danielle); grandchildren: Amanda, Sheldon, Connor, Quinton, Travis, Trinity and great granddaughter Sydney; sister-in-law Eleanor Phillips; brothers-in-law: Herb Huber; Ron (Betty) Crossman, Allan (Elaine) Cole and Ken (Earlene) Haus. Harold also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The funeral service will be held in the Lipton Community Hall, Lipton, SK. on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mary Gavin officiating. Interment in Lipton Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Regina General Hospital Renal Unit, 1440 - 14th. Ave., Regina, SK S4P 0W5 and to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Regina, Cahpter 1545C McAra ST. Regina, SK S4N 6H4 would be appreciated.
