Am so sorry to hear about your loss, Mr. Venable was someone you could never forget. He was such a fixture for all of us who grew up in the neighborhood who cared about all of us as we did for him. Everyone who knew him knows what a good man he was, and should be greatful for having him as long as we did. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and he will be missed

To the Venable Family,
I was heartbroken to hear that Mr. Venable had passed away, he was much more than a neighbor to many of us. I believe he was the Neighborhood Watch, before there ever was such a thing. He was always watching out for all of us and it seemed like your house was always the place to be. He will be remembered as a gentle, kind spirit, who would would always welcome you in to join him in front of the TV, for something to eat or maybe a drink. Help yourself, I remember hearing so often. He will always have a special place in my heart. As your hearts mourn for him, I believe he is already found his place to watch over his loving family and keep them safe.
