I cannot believe it's been a year since you have been gone. I miss you so much. Sometimes I think of something you said that made me laugh and I start laughing. Sometimes I read something in the newspaper that I think you would be interested in and I cry because you're not here for me to share. Laughing or crying keeps you in my heart where you will be forever. Babe, until I see you again, love always.

Dad,
We went fishing this weekend and thought of you the entire time. I brought the poles and lanterns that you gave us over the years and the only thing that would have made it perfect would have been if you were there. Missing you.

This is what I think about Lee...in the early days we both were protecting the "same girl", his sister and my girlfriend. After the inital confrontation, we settled down. I liked that and so did Lee. We shook hands and had a beer! Many years after we were no longer just friends, we were FAMILY. When Marthy first got sick. She was really sick "GOD HELP HER" and he did. God sent his angel, "Harold Lee". Lee and Juanita came for weeks to help. When Lee came, there were Sparks in Marthy's eyes. Lee brought her stuffed animals (he bought at Goodwill) CRAZY! Lee and Juanita stayed until Marthy was laughed out... Opps, don't forget the red beer. Lee is in trouble and in the hospital. We don't know why? Christy and I went to visit Lee. He looked okay, not good, but okay. After he got his check up we entered the room again. He was still all smiles...Going home tomorrow and seeing Martha. Martha as sick as she was couldn't not visit Lee while he was in the hospital. So, she was waiting for Lee to get home. Well, that night God called his Angel home. Martha was HEARTBROKEN. The tears were plenty. She didn't get to even speak to him....

Thank you Harold Lee for a lifetime of memories I continue to share, especially with Sammy and Lisa. We will see you later.

I miss you so much. I miss how you would make me laugh with your stories. I miss putting in a CD and listening to oldies, especially, "My Girl." I miss watching old western movies with you. I miss you saying, "I don't feel like cooking tonight," which meant dinner would be take out or the Chinese buffet. I'll miss you. . .until I see you again.
