Harriet Pua Akiona, born August 9, 1936 in Hilo, Hawaii married John Akiona (deceased) in 1955. They moved to San Francisco, California in 1957 where she resided until 2010 where she then became a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. On October 15, 2013 she finally returned home to our Heavenly Father. She is survived by her son, Warner Akiona, Sr. (Joy) and daughter Lynnette Akiona-Kennedy (Kenneth.) She had 9 grandchildren, Warner Akiona Jr., Nikki Maumasi (Victor), Kenneth Kennedy III, Jocelyn Akiona, David Kennedy, Kapuanani Akiona, Angelique "Bear" Kennedy, Lehuanani Akiona, Maile Akiona and 3 great-grandchildren, Keoni, Kalani,...


Harriet Pua Akiona, born August 9, 1936 in Hilo, Hawaii married John Akiona (deceased) in 1955. On October 15, 2013 she finally returned home to our Heavenly Father. She is survived by her son, Warner Akiona, Sr. (Joy) and daughter Lynnette Akiona-Kennedy (Kenneth.) She had 9 grandchildren, Warner Akiona Jr., Nikki Maumasi (Victor), Kenneth Kennedy III, Jocelyn Akiona, David Kennedy, Kapuanani Akiona, Angelique "Bear" Kennedy, Lehuanani Akiona, Maile Akiona and 3 great-grandchildren, Keoni, Kalani, and Kehaulani Maumasi. She also had 11 siblings which 9 she is still survived by Lucy Kuikahi, Kaleilehua Ishibashi, Harry Aina Jr., Kalaunani Nunnally, Roselani Napeahi, Alvin Aina (deceased), Mildred Makakoa (deceased), William Aina, Kay Makaiwi, Elia Loa, and Maile Aina and nieces, nephews, and cousins.



The family will be having a visitation on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 3:00pm- 7:00pm and a funeral service on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 10:00am- 11:00am at Palm Northwest Mortuary. She will be laid to rest at Cypress Lawn Cemetery located at 1370 El Camino Real, Coma, CA 94014 on a later date to be announced.
