Mr. Harry Scott Adams, Jr., age 62 of Marietta GA passed away Tuesday, November 9th, 2010, after displaying great strength and courage and with his good humor and sweet spirit, he lost his battle to cancer.

Harry was born July 21, 1948, in Bossier City, LA to Harry Adams Sr. and Evelyn (Rawls) Adams.
Harry was a loving and wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. And we cannot forget his special relationship with his bestest buddy Wilson along with Bogey and Abbi – his 3 Great Danes. They were his constant companions during his struggle with cancer.
Harry is survived by his wife of 14 years, Connie Ford Adams. His Daughter – Lisa K Adams of Bossier City LA; Father and Stepmother – Harry & Hattie Adams Sr. of Bossier City LA; Sister – JoAnn (Mike) Wilkerson of Bossier City LA; Nephew – Joel Wayne Harrison of Bossier City LA; Father and Mother In-Law – Noel & Jeanne Ford of Appleton WI; Brother-in-Law – Steve Ford of Appleton WI; Sister-in-Law – Amy Ford of Canton GA; Nephews – Mike (Monica) Sengbusch of Woodstock GA & Randy (Ashley) Sengbusch of Marietta GA; along with the Greatest Great Nephews in the world – Hayden & Tristan Sengbusch of Woodstock GA

Harry was a superintendent for Turner Construction. He also worked at the Institute of Paper Science and Technology, where he and Connie met. Harry served in the US Navy, which included two tours of Viet Nam. Harry was an avid outdoorsman. He loved camping, deer hunting, photography, his many trips to the 'piney' woods, cars/trucks, and working around the house. He will be remembered for his great love of animals; he knew so much about all creatures large and small. Harry was a music enthusiast who liked all kinds of music. Harry possessed the rare ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds – the saying "he never met a stranger" was totally Harry. What a gift he had and he could talk about anything. He touched so many people and will always be loved and never forgotten.
Harry requested no Memorial Service, so please don't mourn Harry's passing, but celebrate the life of this wonderful man, by listening to music, taking a walk in the woods, enjoying nature, or hugging your best furry friend and think of Harry. That's what he'd want!
