September 17, 1918 ~ September 11, 2010 Ed passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 11 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital at 91 years of age. He is predeceased by his wife Josephine and his 4 brothers, Joe, Jack, Lorne, and Bob. He was born in St. Vital, Manitoba, a district of Winnipeg, and lived a full life. After serving his country in the WWII, he moved to British Columbia and lived and worked all around the province, finally settling down when he married his wife Josephine in 1975. He is survived by his 2 step children Leslie Schaap and Terry (Heike) Stammers; grandchildren Amanda, Ryan, Nory, and Brianna; as well as numerous...

Ed passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 11 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital at 91 years of age. He is predeceased by his wife Josephine and his 4 brothers, Joe, Jack, Lorne, and Bob. He was born in St. Vital, Manitoba, a district of Winnipeg, and lived a full life. After serving his country in the WWII, he moved to British Columbia and lived and worked all around the province, finally settling down when he married his wife Josephine in 1975. He is survived by his 2 step children Leslie Schaap and Terry (Heike) Stammers; grandchildren Amanda, Ryan, Nory, and Brianna; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear family friends. Many thanks to the nurses & staff at Abbotsford Hospital Palliative Care. A memorial Service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford on Friday, September 17 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
