Obituary

MSGT Harry D. McQueen, USA, (ret) was born in Troy, KS on January 21, 1917 to Roy and Eva (Duncan) McQueen and entered eternity on June 29, 2014 in San Antonio, TX. He was served in the United States Marines, the Canadian Army and retired as a MSGT from the United States Army after 20 years of service. Harry was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Margaret and his son, Barry McQueen. He is survived by his sons, David McQueen (Becki), Pat McQueen, Michael McQueen, Larry McQueen, Philip McQueen (Aleksandra). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Maria McQueen, Jeff White,...
MSGT Harry D. McQueen, USA, (ret) was born in Troy, KS on January 21, 1917 to Roy and Eva (Duncan) McQueen and entered eternity on June 29, 2014 in San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Margaret and his son, Barry McQueen.

He is survived by his sons, David McQueen (Becki), Pat McQueen, Michael McQueen, Larry McQueen, Philip McQueen (Aleksandra). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Maria McQueen, Jeff White, Lisa Ann McQueen, Julia Teague, Lisa Marie McQueen, Jennifer Allen, Margaret Gaines, Steve McQueen, Keith McQueen, Michael McQueen and Andrew Johnston.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4411 Moana San Antonio, TX 78218. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
