Harry Price, 73, passed away peacefully Wednesday August 1 at his home in College Station with his family by his side. Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday August 4 at Christ United Methodist Church in College Station. Harry was born October 26, 1938 in Corsicana the son of Will Sidney and Dorothy (Carter) Price. He was raised in Kerens, Texas and graduated from Kerens High School. Harry attended and graduated with a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M '61, he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band. Harry Price, 73, passed away peacefully Wednesday August 1 at his home in College Station with his family by his side. Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday August 4 at Christ United Methodist Church in College Station. Harry was born October 26, 1938 in Corsicana the son of Will Sidney and Dorothy (Carter) Price. He was raised in Kerens, Texas and graduated from Kerens High School. Harry attended and graduated with a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M '61, he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force. After his service, he began his career as a commercial pilot for American Airlines, and most recently flying as Captain/Check Airman on a Boeing 767. He flew for American Airlines from 1968-98. During his time at home between his flights, he spent time with children, coaching football and little league. Harry was a member and faithful supporter of the Texas A&M 12th Man Foundation and anything to do with the Texas Aggies. He loved to play golf with his friends and was passionate about aggie sports. He was member of the Masonic Lodge in Kerens, TX., Pebble Creek Country Club, Christ United Methodist Church as
well as the Sons of the American Revolution. Harry is preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Sy Price. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jeanne Price of College Station; daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Jim
Griffin of League City; sons and daughters-in-law, Matt and Ellen Price of Austin and Kyle and Mary Beth Price of Arlington; brother and sister-in-law, Carter and Luann Price of San Antonio; grandchildren, Alex Hodgson '15, Casey Hodgson '15, Erin Price, Cory Price, Madison Price and Sydney Price, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Texas Aggie Band Association, 1134 Finfeather, Bryan, Texas 77803, In memory of Harry Price.
