Biography

      Hazel Beatrice Auldridge was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Hazel will be remembered as a very exceptional person.        She was the daughter of John Elmer and Alma Alice Bailey Bullard.       Hazel was raised with two brothers, Ben Bullard and Edward Bullard and two sisters, Maggie Bullard and Ruby Douglas. Hazel was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.        Hazel married Ralph Ray Auldridge, October 21, 1967, building forty three years of family and memories before his death on November 26, 2010. Empathic and loyal, Hazel was committed to making her new family happy.       Hazel worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Hazel was blessed with two children. One son, Wesley Ben Auldridge, who passed away, February 24, 1995 and one daughter, Amy Collins.       Hazel Beatrice Auldridge was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Hazel will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

       She was the daughter of John Elmer and Alma Alice Bailey Bullard.

      Hazel was raised with two brothers, Ben Bullard and Edward Bullard and two sisters, Maggie Bullard and Ruby Douglas. Hazel was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.

       Hazel married Ralph Ray Auldridge, October 21, 1967, building forty three years of family and memories before his death on November 26, 2010. Empathic and loyal, Hazel was committed to making her new family happy.

      Hazel worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Hazel was blessed with two children. One son, Wesley Ben Auldridge, who passed away, February 24, 1995 and one daughter, Amy Collins. Another blessing for Hazel was the gift of four grandchildren, Lydia Mae, Austin Ray Joseph, Wesley Todd and Quincy Adam Collins.

      Throughout her life, Hazel was a doer and was always actively involved in professional and community organizations. Throughout her later years, Hazel was an active member of the Ladie's Auxilary of VFW Post #5076 in Garland, Texas.

      Hazel passed away on July 1, 2014 at Heritage House of Paris Assisted Living Center. Services were held at ten o'clock in the morning, Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, Texas. Hazel's cremated remains were placed together with her husband Ralph's and son Wesley's cremated remains and buried together at Forest Chapel Cemetery in Chicota, Texas.

      Simply stated, Hazel was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Hazel leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Hazel Beatrice Auldridge.
