Helen Margaret Glaze, known to many as Peggy, died August 17, 2013, at the age of 91. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Shertzer. She attended Indiana University. She was married August 22, 1941 to James Glaze of Bloomington, Indiana. She worked for Tarzians attaching tuners, but her passion was designing dresses. She fulfilled her passion by making clothes for their three children and later by making Barbie doll clothes. She enjoyed giving the Barbie clothes to her grandchildren and others who enjoyed them. She is survived by her sister Virginia Small, three children Tommye (Jim) Haas, Danna...

She is survived by her sister Virginia Small, three children Tommye (Jim) Haas, Danna (Jim) Bowman and Allen (Karen) Glaze, nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 19, 2013 at Day Funeral Home, officiated by the Reverend Rick Clayton. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
