Helen Terrell Gray Griggs, 66, of Centreville entered into rest on March 27, 2015 at DCH Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her father, Otis Terrell; her mother, Mattie Champion; one sister, Ruth Phillips; husband, Maxie Gray, Sr.; and one son, Michael Gray.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Griggs of Centreville; two daughters, Teresa Gray Wilson (Ernie) of Centreville and Jeanine Gray of Centreville; son Maxie Gray, Jr. (Tamela) of Centreville; two stepsons, Caston Griggs, Jr. of Tuscaloosa and Joey Griggs of Centreville; two sisters, Jean Wilson of Centreville and Debra Wise of Petersburg, In.; four brothers, Danny Terrell of Foley; Donald Champion of Evergreen; Randall Champion of Evergreen and Bruce Champion of Centreville; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Service will be held at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel in Centreville on Tuesday March 31, 2015 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dale Simmons officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
Burial will be at Brent Cemetery immediately following service.
