Helen Adams 84 of Texarkana,Texas passed away on August 18, 2012 in a local hospital. Helen was born June 4, 1928 in Granger County, Tennessee. She was a loving mother who retired from Fouke Independent School District and was of the Methodist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Lowell Adams and a brother Howard Acuff and her parents Mamie and John Basil Acuff. Survivors include her children and their spouses; Cherree Adams, Lana and Terry Raney, Nanette Tidwell, Walter and Dana Adams, Jeanne Russell, Alece and Tony Downs. Survivors include her children and their spouses; Cherree Adams, Lana and Terry Raney, Nanette Tidwell, Walter and Dana Adams, Jeanne Russell, Alece and Tony Downs. Two Stepchildren; Bill Adams and Susie Adams.
Helen also leaves to cherish her memory her grandchildren and their spouses; Jared and Stacy Tidwell, Stephanie and Howard Pittman, Leslie Raney, Carlton Jordan, William Adams, Jamie Adams and Jonathon Steinman and four great grandchildren; Samuel Pittman, Zach Dawson, Kaden Dawson and Ashlyn Dawson. Helen is also survived by her two sisters; Katherine Acuff and Bessie Jackson and two special friends, Juanita Kendrick and Lajuana Fitzgerald.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday August 25, 2012 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane Chapel with Rev. Frank McFerrin officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Mound Cemetery,Fouke, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday August 24, 2012 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
