Helen and Emil were members of First Christian Church, Evansville, for many years. They served as youth sponsors went on mission trips and Helen was President of the Women's Christian Ministries for several years. She faithfully participated in the choir and prayer ministries and ministered to many through her compassionate and generous heart. She and Emil traveled the USA and Canada via motorcycle with friends from the Southern Indiana Motorcycle Association. Her travels were always well documented by her ever present camera! They were active members of the Greyhound Pets of America, attending many parades and events with their pampered pet greyhounds, April and Bobbi.
