Her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren will remember her for her passionate personality and great gardening advice. Every Friday or Saturday was spent dancing the night away at the Legion, Army Navy, or Elks Club. Jackie and Bill would put the kids to shame with their energy and talent! Daylight would find them up and working in their beautiful garden, cultivating both veggies and the flowers. Jackie was involved in her many Clubs such as the Army Navy, Winfield Gardening Club, Winfield Seniors Center, The Red Hats and the local RV Club. She will be missed by her many dear friends. A Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Army Navy & Air Force Unit #376, 270 Dougall Road N. in Rutland with Celebrant Cathy Nesbitt. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society 1633 Pandosy Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 1P6.
