Helen loved life and her family dearly and so enjoyed the many family reunions and family gatherings. If anyone mentioned a game of Pokeno–she was there. She had a knack with plants and loved gardening. The family would like to give thanks to her loving granddaughter and caregiver, Nickole Carpenter and the caring nurses of Hospice of Dayton; Melissa, Konia, Carmen, Jenny, Kristi, Amy and LaToya as well as Pastor John for the outstanding care given to our Mom. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends Friday, August 8, 2014 starting at 9 am at the Ethan Temple Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4000 Shiloh Springs Road, Clayton, followed by a Celebration of Helen's life at 10 am with Dr. Joe Grider and Deboria Harrison presiding.
