On July 15 in Castle Rock, Colorado we lost our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, baba, aunt, and friend, Helen N. Talcott. Helen Naranchich, was born May 29, 1912, in Radersburg, Montana to Louis and Anna Narancich. She attended schools in Twin Bridges, Montana, where her parents ranched. There, she met Clarence Dexter Talcott whom she married on September 11, 1932. To their union, three children were born, Dexter, Joanne Elaine, and Debbra Ann. On July 15 in Castle Rock, Colorado we lost our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, baba, aunt, and friend, Helen N. Talcott.

Helen Naranchich, was born May 29, 1912, in Radersburg, Montana to Louis and Anna Narancich. She attended schools in Twin Bridges, Montana, where her parents ranched. There, she met Clarence Dexter Talcott whom she married on September 11, 1932. To their union, three children were born, Dexter, Joanne Elaine, and Debbra Ann.

Helen and Clarence had a ranch on the Big Hole River until the late seventies. Helen left the ranch and moved to Twin Bridges for 15 years. She was involved with the Ladies Aide, Church of the Valley, 4-H, Montana Senior Citizens, and journalist for the Madisonian. In 1995 she moved to Rapid City, SD to be close to Joanne and Art. In the last months of her life she came to live with Debbie and Alan in Castle Rock, Colorado where she celebrated her 100 birthday.

Surviving Helen are her son Dexter Talcott (Loretta), Tonto Verde, Arizona, daughters, Shannon Belair (Ron) and son Connor; Cheryl Bazzell (Mark) and sons Jared and Sheldon; Shelley Sweeney (Tom) children Thomas and Bridget; daughter Joanne Alleger (Arthur), Rapid City, son Kevin; daughter Allyson Richter (Peter) and children Adrian, Danielle, Justin, and Jessica; and daughter Debbra Fordham (Alan), Castle Rock, Colorado, son Tyler Fordham (Rachel) and children Garret, Spencer, Adele, and Titus; daughter Tia Saxton (Michael), and children Everett and Emilia Helen; and son Trenton.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Bosilka, Zoriene, Babe, Mildred, and brothers Nick and Pete, her husband, Clarence and one great grandchild, Evan Belair.

Every time we see a garden, smell a rose, touch a quilt, hear a nursery rhyme, play a game, go to Wendy's or hug a teddy bear we will think about our beautiful Mother and Grandmother.

Services will be in Twin Bridges, Montana, on July 20, 2012 at the Church of the Valley at 5:00 P.M. Internment will be at the Twin Bridges Cemetery.
Refreshments to follow at the Church of the Valley.
