My mom used to say if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it. Words to live by. We will miss her advise.

My mother was a great inspiration to me thru out my life, from her I learned by example, that there was no problem that could not be solved, there was no work that was too hard, anything was achievable and “everyday is the best day of my life and every cup of coffee is the best that I have ever had”. For 65 years of my life that is the best advice I have ever received.

My darling Mrs. Tupper, from my very earliest memories of running over daily to your house to get a cold drink and cookies, always asking.. " don't tell my mom" ..you were my rock. You taught me to be strong, you taught me to be brave in the face of adversity. No matter what, you always had a positive outlook to everything...Always smiling and making me feel as though I was the most important person in the world. What a wonderful gift you gave myself and my family... We love you so very much and know that Mom and Dad were standing in line to greet you at heavens gates... You will ALWAYS be in my heart.

A note from a co worker of son Richard
Dear Richard
I feel very sad over the news of your mom's passing. I have spoken with her twice and I learned to love her from the first conversation where she called to thank you for the cookies she has received. What a pleasure it was to talk to her. Over the two plus years I worked with you I enjoyed talking to you about her and could feel the closeness and love you have for her.
In facing a bad occurrence I always try to see a good side to it; in this case I wish you to thank God for allowing her to be with you for so long building up more memories each day she was with us.
I can only imagine how sad you must be with the loss of her presence in your life and I want you to give you my deepest condolences.

I knew my mother in law longer than I have known my husband! She was a friend, mentor, and confidant. When she was 85, I asked her if there was anything she would still like to do. She said she always wanted to go to Paris and would I go with her. My daughter and I went with her on a fantastic wine tasting tour of France. Helen turned 86 days after we returned. One very very hot day with absolutely no shade was spent at Versailles. Another member of our tour pointed at Helen and said, " if she's not complaining, I'm not complaining!" We had an emotional experience at D'Orsay when she was unable to see the Degas paintings. Helen cried, Carrie and I cried, and several members of our tour joined us. Much love, Helen, Dear. Barbara
