Henry loved to sing for the benefit of others. He sang with the Choraleers at nursing homes and assisted living centers for over 20 years. He left his own church in time to sang with the Crivewood UMC choir because we desperately needed a strong tenor. Henry was a talented, sensitive and valued friend. I hope we made him know how much we appreciated him.

I sat beside Henry for 14 years in the Fifty Forward Choraleers tenor section and also at Crievewood UMC. He had a wonderful tenor voice, and took pride in singing hymns in each voice level from soprano to bass. I will miss him greatly. I pray that he is at peace.

Henry was a unique individual and will be missed very much. He sang in the choir at Crievewood UMC on many occasions where his incredible tenor voice was so welcomed and needed. I enjoyed working with Henry on a committee at First Presbyterian Church as well as conversation at other gatherings. He was so interesting to talk with and I admired his ability to speak fluent Russian. My heart is heavy with sadness at his death. My prayers for peace are lifted up for his family.

I will remember Henry for the talent he shared with our Crievewood United Methodist Church choir. He was a willing servant of the Lord through his gift of song. He will be missed.

Loved him much. He and I enjoyed going to music festivals and concerts. Like I do, he played the piano and was especially fond of ragtime. Henry spent a lot of time helping seniors with special needs and providing them companionship. He read Tolstoy and many other authors in Russian to his old Ukrainian friend whose eyesight was failing. I will miss my great friend.
