Henry Ford "Hank" Ballard was born on August 13, 1936, in Tahlequah, OK the son of Steve and Elsie Ballard. Upon finishing school, Hank began a career in the construction business. Hank was a hard working man. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed the occasional day spent at his favorite fishing hole or playing backyard mechanic. Hank never met a stranger. He loved to spend the evening traveling around Tahlequah and socializing with his friends. He always had a good story to tell and could spend the afternoon just enjoying a good cup of coffee and a friendly chat. He raised chickens and enjoyed spending time out doors.Hank passed...
Henry Ford "Hank" Ballard was born on August 13, 1936, in Tahlequah, OK the son of Steve and Elsie Ballard. Upon finishing school, Hank began a career in the construction business. Hank was a hard working man. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed the occasional day spent at his favorite fishing hole or playing backyard mechanic. Hank never met a stranger. He loved to spend the evening traveling around Tahlequah and socializing with his friends. He raised chickens and enjoyed spending time out doors.Hank passed peacefully from this life on February 6th, 2011 at Tahlequah, OK. He was seventy-four years old. Hank will be missed by his many friends and loved ones.
Hank is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Raymond, and three sisters, Rosie Sloan, Mary Colbert, and Nina Wing. Those surviving Hank include his daughter, Nancy Jean Ballard-Kimery and husband Don of Broken Arrow, OK, three very special grandchildren, two brothers, Clyde Ballard of Tahlequah and Eddie Ballard of Florida, and a very special nephew, Tommy Ballard and wife Erica of Tahlequah, OK as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends and loved ones.
