Mr. Henry Keel Everett entered into the Church Triumphant on September 9, 2013, after a short illness.
Mr. Everett was born in Monroe, North Carolina on October 6, 1946 to the late William Nash Everett, III, and Mrs. Frances E. Keel Everett of Rockingham, and Hamlet, North Carolina, respectively. Henry attended grammar school in Monroe, Hamlet, NC, and graduated from Laurinburg High School. He was a member of the US Army, 82nd Airborne, serving as a Medic at Ft. Bragg, NC. He loved to skydive, bass fish, and go camping with the Boy Scout troop in Ocala, FL with his son, Will. He was employed by Sprint in Florida for 32 years, before early retirement, due to heart problems. Moving back to North Carolina to be closer to family, he found a love of gardening, woodworking, and most especially being a grandfather, and found a love of cooking over the past few years. He was a hands on Papa to his grandchildren, and loved them very, very much.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Pegram Everett of 44 years, son, William Chalmers and his fiancee, Heidi Bickner, of Ames, Iowa: and a daughter, Mrs. Marianna Elizabeth Keeth, and her husband, SFC Timothy Paul Keeth U.S.Army, with granddaughters, Kennedy, and Zoie; grandsons, Caleb and Samuel Keeth: also surviving is his brother, James "Jim" Lockhart Everett, and his wife, Pam Mason Everett, of York, SC.

The family would like to thank the awesome staff of the Presbyterian Neurology ICU, as well as the Mercy Rehab staff, and the 3rd floor staff for their kindness and expertise.
No words are really sufficient to thank the staff of the Levine Dickson Hospice House for their loving care for Henry and the family. They will all be a special staff in our hearts.
The Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, September 11th, 11AM in the Paul Helton Chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Anna Everett
My sweetheart, and love of my live, I miss you. It has been 11 months since you heard the Lord call your name to come Home. I have never known such pain, or loss. But I know that the stroke was devastating, and it took it's toll on your body. How I would love to have kept that from happening, but I am not God, and He needed you back. I miss the hours together, your sense of humor, your sweet smile,...most of all I miss your wonderful hugs and kisses. your touch.
You are now with God, and all friends and families that went before you. I will look forward to that day, when I come Home to Heaven, and see you there, with that smile, and your arms open wide. No more goodbyes there.
You were always my one and only love.
I will forever love you, my sweet Henry.
Yours, Anna

Dear Anna, my prayers are with you during this time. Sarah shared the news with me just this evening. I can certainly understand what you are going through as it has been 18 months since our Lord called Wade home. As much as I miss him, I could not be selfish enough to wish him back as sick and in the pain he suffered. With trust in the Lord, He gives us the grace to carry on. Love, Cooper
