Henry Allen Reeder, age 84, of Hurst, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 2701 Harwood Road in Bedford, TX. Henry was born in Ramer, Tennessee on July 22, 1930. He attended Ramer High School, Class of 1948 and then enlisted in the Army Air Corp. He attended Bethel College in McKenzie, Tennessee after completing his military service. Henry was ordained as a Cumberland Presbyterian minister in 1952 and served as minister to several churches in Tennessee, Kentucky and New Mexico before settling in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Henry Allen Reeder, age 84, of Hurst, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 2701 Harwood Road in Bedford, TX. Henry was born in Ramer, Tennessee on July 22, 1930. He attended Ramer High School, Class of 1948 and then enlisted in the Army Air Corp. He attended Bethel College in McKenzie, Tennessee after completing his military service. Henry was ordained as a Cumberland Presbyterian minister in 1952 and served as minister to several churches in Tennessee, Kentucky and New Mexico before settling in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Henry frequently worked in sales for many diverse industries. Henry is survived by his wife Donna and their sons, Michael and Jones Reeder and Richard and Chris Law, grandsons and great-granddaughter along with numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to MDA, 12655 N. Central Expressway # 230, Dallas, Texas 75243 or Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 2701 Harwood Road, Bedford, Texas, 76021.
