Predeceased by his parents, his wife Joan for 42 years in 1994 and loving companion of 17 years, Dr. Ella R. Chase in February of this year, one brother and two sisters. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery and donations may be made to the Cardiac Care Unit at St. Mary's Hospital through the funeral home.
