NEW IBERIA –A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Clarence J. "Beb" Barrilleaux, the former Hilda LeBlanc, age 84, at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Fr. Mark Derise will be the celebrant for the Mass. Interment will follow at St. Marcellus Mausoleum in Rynella.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday with a Rosary at 6:30 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Thursday until service time.
A native of Delcambre and resident of Avery Island, Mrs. Barrilleaux passed away at 2:00 am on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at her daughter's residence.
Mrs. Barrilleaux was retired from McIlhenny Co. at Avery Island after many years of dedicated service. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for many years.
Mrs. Barrilleaux loved to crochet and enjoyed going on casino trips with her friends.
Mrs. Barrilleaux is survived by her husband of 66 years, Clarence J. "Beb" Barrilleaux of Avery Island; one son, Allen Barrilleaux and his wife Norma of Kilgore, TX; two daughters, Jo Ellen B. Perone and husband Nicola of Houston, TX and Tracy B. Hulin and husband Naray of Coteau; six grandchildren, Randy Barrilleaux; Sandy B. Kalmus; Paula B. Howard; Jamie Lopez; Franco Perone and Nicholas Perone and numerous great grandchildren.
She is also survived by one brother, Wilton LeBlanc and wife Margaret and one sister, Cheryl LeBlanc all of New Iberia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Noelus and Edith Bourque LeBlanc; one brother, Kerman LeBlanc and one sister, Glory Bodin.
Pallbearers will be members of the family.
Donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Allen, Jo Ellen, Tracy and Mr. Beb and family, I am so sad to hear about Mrs. Hilda. She sewed many dresses for me when I was very little. She was a wonderful lady and I will pray for all of you. She lived a wonderful long life and you are all so lucky to have had her with you for so many happy years.
