Bob and Hilda were such wonderful neighbors during our 17 years of living across the street from them. They were so proud of their sons and grandchildren. Memories of them are precious to us.

What a great lady! My older brother and I grew up across the street from the Kirsch family in one of the greatest neighborhoods known to boys. While Mrs. Kirsch and the other neighborhood mothers kept an eye on the play, they rarely got involved and only then if swearing or bullying was involved. Roughhousing, wrestling, and all that goes with sports and play was fair game. Hilda and Bob set the bar high for their boys and if our parents brought up the Kirsch name it was usually followed by “fine young boys”; the ultimate compliment. After leaving the Marines in 1984 one of the first stops I made was the Kirsch front door and despite not seeing me for 10 years both Mr. & Mrs. recognized me instantly and welcomed me into their house like a son.

Aunt Hilda Kirsch was just too nice a spirit to have passed without leaving all of us who have lost her a loving memory. Now she is home with her true love, Uncle Bob, along with her Parents, Grandmom & Grandpap Kirsch, as well as her brothers and sisters.
All of us now have a very nice reason to smile.

I will never forget my Aunt Hilda and her passionate love for her husband, Uncle Bob and of course her four boys. They were everything to her. We know without a doubt that Aunt Hilda is enjoying her reunion in heaven with her true love, Uncle Bob and her parents , family and friends. She is at peace and instead of praying for her we can now pray to her. Rest in peace Aunt Hilda- we will always love you and remember your smiling eyes. Niece Sharon

To the Kirsch Family....another Giant in our lives has gone to the Lord. Aunt Hilda leaves behind a Legacy of outstanding family to continue her genuine kindness, love, and sincere warmth. She has always held a special place in my heart and even during our recent visit to Fairborn, in her last days, she was still able to share that warmth with us. My Dad, sister, and I are humbled by the visit and appreciated the hospitality shown to us by Tom and Wendi. It is comforting that she is now with Uncle Bob & extended family in Heaven. Peace to you all.

Grandma, I will miss your laughter, you waiving goodbye to us on the porch and saying, "See you later alligator", your hands giving my hand a welcoming grip, and hearing you say, "I love ya". Give Grandpa a hug for us, and tell him my son Cody will say, "I am calling the police", just like he did. I love this family you made. Love you so much!

The greatest legacy you leave behind is the family you and Bob raised; they will continue to pass down respect, laughter, and mostly love to all those around them. I strive to be strong and happy as you always were. I cry tears for the loss that is upon us, but I also cry for the joy I know you have now found. Be in peace and know you will never be forgotten, and you will always be loved.

Grandma, we will miss you but your love and the sound of your laughter will forever remain music to our hearts. You and Grandpa raised four amazing boys and I am forever grateful for the father you have blessed us with. I love you.

Memories of your laugh will always remind me to keep smiling through life's journey. Your love always protected your family's happiness, you were like our guardian angel in life and will forever be so in death. Your memory will be cherished forever and always through our actions. Rest well in His arms.
