Dear Anne, Mrs. Figush (Ann), Richard and Don,
Words alone can't convey the sadness and loss we feel. May God Bless you all. Howard and his family played such a big part in our coming of age. From High School pal to the Best Man in our wedding (1971), the memory of Howard and his Brothers will always be with us. Above all else, Howard, like his Father, was always a Gentleman and Carol and I will miss him.

Sad to learn about Howard's passing.

I can still remember a few birthdays that we celebrated together, the summer fun, learning to ride a bike etc. Too bad it all drifted apart.

Sincere condolences to the whole Figush Family.

Dearest Ann~
There are no words to express the sorrow at this horrible loss of Howard. He was without a doubt the kindest and most gracious man on earth. Dick truly loved Howard and I can see them together in heaven. Howard died on what would have been our 28th. Wedding Anniversary-so this day will always remind me of Dick and Howard. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love and prayers,
Jan

Became friends with "Fig" in 1966 during our training in Navy Boot Camp. After Camp, I visited with Fig and his family for a few days. I remember his Dad renting the Tornado for him to use while on leave. In a short time we became great friends, but the war and our lives never crossed after 1970, when we met for a few hours. Rest in peace my friend.

I don't have the words for Howard he looked deep inside of me and became my FRIEND, no we didn't go on trips, no we didn't spend free time together what we did share was our LOVE for JESUS CHRIST and our love for one other. I will miss those phone call but I know you are resting in the arms of GOD.

I just heard of Howard's death today, May 1st. I'm in shock. Howard was one of the nicest people I've ever met. He would take anyone under his wing, and made friends easily. He was a good example of how we should live our lives.
Ann, you and all the Figush family are in my thoughts and prayers.
