Obituary

Howard E. Huber, 85 of Indianapolis, formerly of Greensburg, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012 at the St. Vincent Hospice Facility. Howard was born on December 7, 1926, in Decatur County and was the son of Chester and Hazel Huber. After graduation, Howard served for several years in the United States Military. On June 28, 1952, Howard married Dorothy B. Ogden at the First Presbyterian Church in Greensburg and she survives. Howard worked for 37 years at the Link-Belt Bearing Company in Indianapolis. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 497 for 42 years and an avid golfer and bowler and loved watching sports. Other survivors...
Howard E. Huber, 85 of Indianapolis, formerly of Greensburg, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012 at the St. Vincent Hospice Facility. Howard was born on December 7, 1926, in Decatur County and was the son of Chester and Hazel Huber. After graduation, Howard served for several years in the United States Military.
On June 28, 1952, Howard married Dorothy B. Ogden at the First Presbyterian Church in Greensburg and she survives. Howard worked for 37 years at the Link-Belt Bearing Company in Indianapolis. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 497 for 42 years and an avid golfer and bowler and loved watching sports.
Other survivors include his daughter Nickie L. Huber of Indianapolis, his son Brian L. Huber of Dublin, Ohio, and his sister Emma Kay Walke of Napolean. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Elizabeth Lawson, and his two brothers Charles and William Reynolds.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 30 at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 4:30PM – 8PM. A funeral for Howard will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 31 at 11AM with burial to follow at the Kingston Cemetery.
