Howard was a wonderful man and I always enjoyed playing golf with him. My wife cleaned his house and loved sitting and talking with him when he was not on the course. You were a wonderful friend and I will miss you, but one day we will see each other again.

Howard, you are missed. You were a good friend, always ready to help. Many people may not realize that Howard was a Navy Corpsman during the Vietnam conflict. It takes a good deal of bravery, self sacrifice and compassion to be a Corpsman. These are the guys that would lay their life on the line to help their fallen brothers, often putting themselves directly in the line of fire. and those that did not see action were still the one person in the military you could go to with a problem and know you would get help without being judged.. To me, these are the real heroes in any conflict. God bless you brother for your service, your compassion towards others and your friendship. It was an honor to call you friend.
