Hoyt E. Altman went to be with the Lord and Savior Aug. 31, 2010. Hoyt was born Sept. 9, 1925 in Lubbock, Texas. He served honorably in the US Navy, Seaman 1st Class. Hoyt was an amazing golfer with 11 holes in one during his lifetime. He has many golfing buddies who will assuredly miss his game, friendship and wit. He was a government employee for 28 years and was GSA Field Manager for many years prior to his retirement.

His children, grandchildren and family were the most precious things in his life. Hoyt is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Martin Deamos and Sally Francis Altman and sister, Vivian Hill. He is survived by 4 children: son, Dale Altman; daughters, Janice Willis, Vickie McKinney, Sherry Snow and husband Hank Snow; grandchildren: Chris and wife Jeannette Willis, Robyn and husband Tom Champ, Tajuanna and husband Gerry McElyea, Martin and Elva Altman and Kayla Snow: 3 sisters; Mildred Thomkinson & Jackie Welsh of Idaho & Janelle Gatlin of Texas. Hoyt was blessed with 8 great grandchildren who he adored and loved to play with. He also has a set of twins on the way and we know he will be rejoicing with us the day they are born.

We all love and miss him so much, but know he is in a better place in the arms of Jesus Christ. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 7, 10:00 a.m. at Baggerley Funeral Home in Edmond, OK.

Arrangements under the direction of Baggerley Funeral Home, Edmond, OK.
