Hudson's life was very active and he loved working with kids. Coaching and officiating youth and high school football for many years, coaching ROTC fancy drill teams and lastly being a crossing guard for Klein School district kept him young at heart.
He worked in the airline industry many years retiring from British Airways in 2004. Following that retirement, he worked with TSA followed by Klein School District.

Family and his faith were the primary loves of Hudson's life.

Hudson is survived by his beloved wife, Merlene Richards Lee, son, Phillip Lee and wife Lori, grandson, Justin Powell, granddaughter, Jennifer Reynolds, great- granddaughter, Carlee Shrake, sister Linda Gilmore. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vera and Joseph Lee, and brother, J.A. Lee.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff of Nexus In-Patient Care and Oasis Hospice for their care of Hudson.
