Hugh A. May Jr. "JR" of Grapevine, TX passed away peacefully at home due to complications of congestive heart failure on December 10, 2017. He was born in Highlands, TX on April 7, 1931 to Ruth Ann Parker and Hugh May Sr.


JR married Betty Jo Krysinski on May 24, 1962, together they raised two daughters Brenda and Lynda. JR enjoyed hunting, gardening, was an avid reader, and spending time with the Jack Russell he and BJ rescued – Crumb. He is survived by his wife Betty Jo, daughter Brenda and her husband Keith, daughter Lynda and her husband David, granddaughters Madeline and Elizabeth, and his faithful companion Crumb.
