Hugh B. Dalton age 76 of Thorn Hill, TN was born May 12, 1935 and passed away December 6, 2011 at his home. He professed Faith in Christ at Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church in February 1946 with 18 been saved. He joined Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Thorn Hill where he remained a member until death. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Pauline Delph Dalton; Parents, Rev. Hughie and Minnie Dalton; Brothers Haskell, Clay, Garrett, Fred and Esco Dalton; Sisters, Clara Monk, Elsie West and Tennie Dalton and Son-in-law Rev. David Dalton. 15 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren

Major Dalton of Strawberry Plains
Sisters: Eva Coffey of Thorn Hill
Virginia Russell and Brilla Pollard of Strawberry Plains
Brother-in-law: R.C. and wife Margie Delph of Carlisle, Ohio
Sister-in-law: Doris and Husband Junior Cook of Franklin, Ohio
and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 P.M. Thursday and Friday nights at the Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Saturday December 10, 2011 in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Dalton Cemetery.
