Dear Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I just found out about Ian. Ian and i were reared in the same neighborhood and attended the same schools. He was always very kind, generous, funny, and a bit of a prankster. I was just talking about him to a neighbor and that is when i was told of his passing.
My prayers, for the entire family, is that our Heavenly Father continue to surround you with His loving arms and sustain you during this very difficult time. May HE grant you the peace that surpasses all understanding and keep you in His loving care.
God bless you...

I am comforted KNOWING that you are with my niece Kylee...may your '5's' continue to comfort us; may your memories continue to bless your sweet children. Life doesn't get easier, it gets different. You will never be forgotten, Ian.

I was speechless when I heard of Ian's death, I had a crush on him when I was 12 or 13. Only 40 years old, wife and 2 kids, wow. Tomorrow is truly promised to no one. I'm sorry I didn't attend the memorial, I hope you received the small contribution to the children's college fund I left at the cemetary office for his widow. I don't know what I would do if I lost my husband, and we have no children yet. Take care of yourselves guys.-Cherie(Gove) Rissanen

Ian you will forever be a fixed smile in my heart. You always made our team smile and laugh with your singing, jokes and your distinct one and only laugh. You were a joy to work with and I will never forget all the times you would peek in the window and gesture me to let you in the door because you would forget your badge. I will cherish the memories always. I am blessed to have a picture on FB of you and I when I dressed as a kitty kat. I know you loved and cherished your family and I wish them sincere strength to get through this deeply sad time. Susie-Q

Although Ian and I lost touch, I will always remember him very fondly.
