Ida Lorraine Archer, 92, of Crumpler, NC, formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012 in Crumpler. She was born on April 2, 1919, in Terre Haute, to Gothard Preston and Fern Margarette Brown.
Ida is survived by her two sons, Ronald F. Criss and Gary Archer; a brother, Kenneth Brown; a sister, Virginia Greg,; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, four nieces and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles Archer.
Visitation will be held from 11 – 1 on Tuesday, April 3 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.

Megan Jones

Lorraine was a very special person to my family. She was a great friend to my grandma Lee Allen. We will miss her very much, but know that she is in a better place with all her loved ones that have passed before her.
