Ida D. Wagstaff, 98, of Hope Street died Saturday at Silver Creek Manor. She was the wife of the late Arthur St. Onge and the late Frank Wagstaff. She was adoringly called "Memier" by all those who knew her. Born in Voluntown CT, she was the daughter of the late James and Rose Houle and had lived in Warren for many years, Attleboro for a time and then moved to Bristol. Ida was a textile worker for Berkshire Hathaway for many years. She is survived by a son Roland St. Onge and a daughter Barbara Ribeiro both of Bristol, a stepdaughter Jean Fonteau and a stepson Donald Wagstaff both of Attleboro, MA, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five...
Ida D. Wagstaff, 98, of Hope Street died Saturday at Silver Creek Manor. She was the wife of the late Arthur St. Onge and the late Frank Wagstaff. She was adoringly called "Memier" by all those who knew her.

Born in Voluntown CT, she was the daughter of the late James and Rose Houle and had lived in Warren for many years, Attleboro for a time and then moved to Bristol.

Ida was a textile worker for Berkshire Hathaway for many years.

She is survived by a son Roland St. Onge and a daughter Barbara Ribeiro both of Bristol, a stepdaughter Jean Fonteau and a stepson Donald Wagstaff both of Attleboro, MA, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and seventeen great, great grandchildren, with one great, great grandchild on the way. She was the mother of the late Pauline Caouette, Arthur and Henry St. Onge and the grandmother of Brian St. Onge.

Ida will be remembered as an avid dancer and as a woman who loved her cats. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 9-11:15 AM concluding with a Memorial Service at 11:15 in the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren. Condolences may be offered at www.wilbur-romano.com.
