Inez Robison, Hurricane
Inez Todd Robison, age 94, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. She was the oldest member of Hurricane Baptist Church, retired from Delta Trouser in Okolona where she was a supervisor and from Keystone Metal Molding. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, traveling and spending time with her family.
Services will be at 3:00 PM Friday, February 18, 2011 at Hurricane Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Brock, Rev. Kevin Merritt and Rev. Bill Thompson officiating; burial will follow in the Sand Springs Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Ecru is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her three daughters: Annette Benjamin (Lanny) of Hurricane; Mary Coker (Donald Mack) of Ecru and Linda Spears (Mike) of Hurricane, her son: Wayne Wood of Hurricane, a special daughter in law: Debra Robison, eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, five special nieces: Brenda Hall, Carolyn Colston, Cheryl Gordon, Jo Lane Warren and Margaret Lamar, and four special nephews: Bill Todd, Woodson Todd, Bobby Joe Todd and Floyd Todd.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Pole Todd and Sally Sanders Todd, her husband: Gayle Robison, three sons: Jame Park "Sonny" Robison, J.P. "Pete" Graham and Junior Robison, an infant daughter, a sister: Flora Todd Reeves, four brothers: J.C. Todd, Alvin Todd, Henry Todd and Wes Todd and two grandsons: Allan Graham and Jeff Graham.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Todd Coffey, Shane Coffey, Brent Spears, Patrick Coker, Derrick Graham, Jake Hudson and Chuck Robison. Honorary pallbearers will be: Austin Anderson, Blake Anderson, Hayden Hall, Devin Hill and Garrett Oglesby.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 PM Thursday and from 10 to 1:30 PM Friday at the funeral home and from 2 to 3 PM Friday at Hurricane Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Warren Cemetery Fund, C/O Jo Lane Warren, 9500 Hwy 346, Pontotoc, MS 38863
