What is appropriate to say when someone has left us except to keep them and their family in our prayers! I met Aunt Irene through Uncle Edward when I stayed with him a couple days he took me to Aunt Irene and Uncle Bills home here in Florida this was our first and last visit but a memorable one as Aunt Irene did not hesitate to let me know that I was part of the family with hugs and hospitality and Uncle Bill took me outside to their Grape Fruit tree which we ate from prior that day. Aunt Jeannette and her family took my 2 younger brothers and me at 2 years old in for 4 years after my mother passed. Aunt Helen when I was 1 who accepted both my mother and I to stay with her and family till we got settled when we came back from over seas. Aunt Hazel who it was a joy to meet when here in Florida (again through Uncle Edward) who welcomed me like I was always a part of her families lives. Aunt Irene has shown that she as well as her Sisters in my life time whether there was a need or not that their love goes beyond themselves and touches everyone who have met them, My brothers and I are still together from this love they had for each other, I can't imagine the love they all had for each other growing up together to share it with others, their families must have been eternally blessed, for me there is no better reward than to be a part of their lives no matter how brief with all the love they had to give. I will miss you Aunt Irene!
Love with our prayers

Dear Jeannine,
Our hearts are with you at this difficult time. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and our prayers. I have fond memories of the times I met your mom. She and your dad were always so fun to be around! I remember when my mom passed away, Irene said she was up all night thinking about Helen...almost like she knew. Now they are together at peace! We love you...Teri, Carl, Conor & Lauren

Mom always loved music and I will always be grateful for the gift of music she shared with me. She played the piano and we began singing when we were very young. She continued her love of music into her retirement in Florida, singing in the Church Choir and a local singing group.

I will miss her beautiful spirit and wonderful voice.

My Aunt Irene and Uncle Bill were married on the day of my thirteenth birthday. My mom was her sister and we attended the wedding. It seemed like fun to me. The reception started with the normal introductions. Then just when it was time for the bride and groom to have their first dance the music was the birthday song. Irene walked out of the kitchen with a huge birthday cake and lit candles. She walked straight to me and gave me a birthday kiss as everyone sang. This was her day, her wedding, and everyone knows all the effort that goes into a wedding Yet Irene and Bill gave thought to one nephew's birthday. This is the kind, loving and thoughtful nature of both my Aunt Irene and my Uncle Bill. Always they thought of others. God is so happy for their lives and even more for the way they have lived them. I will miss her everyday.

Native American Prayer

I give you this one thought to keep -
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still - in each new dawn.
